Keep an eye on Hillary

Now that Hillary Clinton has thrown her hat in the Presidential ring, keep an eye on her. She is a formidable competitor with unparalleled resiliency and the financial resources to lobby a "real" run at the white house. Hillary overcame a great deal of adversity to gain the Senate seat she now holds; remember White Water? Of course we all remember the public embarrassment and humiliation she suffered during the Lewinsky soap opera. The point is that Senator Clinton is not to be taken lightly. I have heard it all, "oh, the Country is not ready for a woman president", "she (Clinton) does not stand a chance, no one likes her". Well, she is the Senator of New York, she is very wealthy and now that she has announced that she is running, she will fight and has a very good chance at her parties nomination.

Now more than ever, Republicans must band together and put forward a strong candidate. As a party, we must become united behind that candidate. A divided party will not stand and there will be no contest for the job of President and Commander in Chief in 2008.
